person keeps calling- i looked the # up- and saw it was a scam artist- so when they called- i screamed into the phone as loudly as i could- SCAM!!

Received a call informing me that I had illegal downloads to my computer and that they were going to help me. I asked him what company he represented and he told me a tech company name and that represented Microsoft. He gave me some number that he said was my computers serial #. I asked what he was selling and he said nothing that he was going to help me remove unauthorized downloads. The man had an east Indian accent and was hard to understand. He told me to go on to my computer and hit the windows key and the control key at the same time and then type in event.ewr in to the box. It was weird because my husbands company is in the same city where the call said it was from so I thought that maybe it was legit. I was suspicious and said thank you but I don't need your help.He said..what and I hung up. I then called the number back and got a voice message that said that extension was busy and to leave a message. I didn't..It is definitely a scam and they are trying to get in to your computer to get your info. Don't trust them.

Scam. Wanted to "fix my computer". Kept wasting their time as long as possible, asking dumb questions and telling them nonsense about "my computer". Said it was running Windows 3.1 and DR-DOS was getting sluggish, could they fix that? Oh yes they could! I just had to go to their web site and enter some personal information! Asked them, how was the weather there in Bangalore? Could they tell me how to format a BSA drive with FAT21? How do I lubricate the bearings on my motherboard? After about 10 minutes of this, they finally hung up. Haven't laughed so hard in months. :-)

Called with East Indian accent, knew my last name and said he was computer support calling about my Windows computer....uh, I use a Mac.

Reported these frauds posing as Microsoft employees. They are calling from what sounds like an East Indian calling center. Indian woman followed by phone call of Indian man with fake name of "Josh" attempting to access your personal computers remotely. Calling number of origin most likely spoofed. Not a legitimate front for Microsoft Windows as claimed by scammers.

It's a boiler room operation probably using a "spoofed" (computer generated fake) phone number, to give a pretense of legitimacy to various phone scams their running. Most recently claiming to be "tech support" trying to get people to get on their computers and give them remote access to fix an imaginary problem. Once in they'll black mail you to get control of your system back, or possibly just steal your passwords and access private information.

This is the number for Verizon DSL Tech support. It was required they call back, and they called me back from this number. It is NOT DirecTV. It possibly may have been DirecTV's old number, though.

left a message saying i owed a debt for a doctor bill, i called them back asked them to send me proof of my bill because i have paid everything up and they said they can't do that.

Calls every day, several times a day. Never leaves message.

recieved numerous missed call from this number and when i'm calling back no ppl answering....ehh frustration.

I BELIEVE THIS NUMBER IS KENT HOSPITAL. HAVE A FRIEND HAVING THERE BABY AND I BELIEVE THEY CALLED TO TELL ME THE BABY WAS BORN!!!YEAH

Got a call from this place and hit 1 to talk to a person and said for the 100th time stop calling me. The guy got mad and starting yelling at me saying do you even know why we're calling? I said no. He said you have 3 credit cards that you pay on time and pay more then the minimum amount right? I said yes. He said we'll lower the interest rate to 9.99%. So he said I need you start with the credit card that begins with a 4 read me the middle numbers. I said no I'm not giving you my numbers. In a stern voice he said look we can't do nothing without the 3 digit number on the back and we're not asking for your mother's maiden name. I said no there's too much credit card fraud going around. After telling him no three times. He said you know something you're a dumb guy. I said I'd rather be a dumb guy and keep my good credit card record. He hung up. Call my three credit card companies and go new cards with new numbers.

one misssed call from this no. to my phone.but when i call u ....say that this no. does not exist.
